Air Cover 2.0 for Apple Vision Pro

With the Air Cover 2.0 you can improve the ergonomics of your Apple Vision Pro , eliminating pressure on your face but adding a new modular function , the possibility of blocking or not blocking your peripheral vision, helping less light to enter your Apple Vision Pro (*). All of this 3D printed and designed by Infinity One maintaining the aesthetics of the Apple product, including a new innovative and easy-to-use design.

After the success of the first Air Cover , which is ideal for use with Extended Reality or using it for Spatial Computing, we have improved this with the 2.0 model by adding small removable side fins that will allow you to have greater immersion in Virtual Reality or immersive environments. .

Following the same philosophy, the Air Cover 2.0 allows you to use this device without feeling the pressure on your face and transfer it to the upper part of the forehead, maintaining better balance and improving the feeling of overwhelm that Light Seal usually causes.

It is important that to improve ergonomics and be able to use it for many hours, it is purchased together with our Nylon Strap , since it will balance and distribute the weight of the Apple Vision Pro much better.

By using the Air Cover 2.0 on your Apple Vision Pro you will have a series of improvements and unique features:

• We can choose if we want to have real-life peripheral vision , which helps us mix our real vision with the vision provided by the Apple Vision Pro cameras or something more immersive if we place the side blockers.
• Thanks to the new design, we will eliminate part of the lateral reflections that occur in the lenses of the Apple Vision Pro when using this system with a clear face.
• The bottom will remain clear, allowing complete relief by improving breathability as air will circulate freely inside.
• You will no longer feel overwhelmed by the heat generated or the pressure on your face with prolonged use, in addition to avoiding fogging of the lenses.
• You will avoid constant pressure and marks all over your forehead and cheeks.
• You will improve ergonomics and field of view (FOV) impressively. (*)
• You will be able to use your glasses if you do not use the side blockers , however if you decide to use them your glasses may not fit well. (*)

In reference to the increase in FOV of the Apple Vision Pro, we have made measurements based on the Light Seal 21W and comparing it with our Air Cover 2.0 it maintains the same measurements as the original .

With the Light Seal 21W we achieved only 100º of horizontal FOV while with the Air Cover 2.0 we have managed to reach 113º of Horizontal FOV, which provides a unique experience and the sensation of wearing glasses to see if we use it without the blockers. .

Not only that, but we have also increased the vertical FOV from 77º to 83º. Giving a greater sensation of eye relief.

Even so, these improvements, as we already indicated , will depend on the features of each user.

Options

Air Cover 2.0 for Apple Vision Pro : This basic model includes the high-quality 3D printed facial along with the memory foam sponge that will provide better ergonomics.

Air Cover 2.0 + Hook Strap Loop + Synthetic Leather Top Strap: The Air Cover 2.0 for Apple Vision Pro greatly improves its ergonomics using the Hook Strap Loop plus a synthetic leather top strap , it is an accessory to take into account to have the better experience.

Air Cover 2.0 + Nylon Strap : Thanks to these systems, the ergonomics and weight balance of the Apple Vision Pro improves considerably together with the Air Cover 2.0. So purchasing the Nylon Strap along with this accessory becomes essential.

Important

The sponge is designed to adapt to the majority of its users' foreheads, thus allowing for improved ergonomics . The grip of the product must be firm but not excessive , when the Air Cover 2.0 is placed it should fall and rest on your forehead, you should not tighten it to try to gain stability because it will not work .

This means that you should not overtighten the straps or the fastening system as this could cause the 3D printed part to break and be excluded from the warranty.

In this way, with just enough pressure you can use the Apple Vision Pro with the Air Cover 2.0 without the need for the top strap , but if you want to have the best experience it is advisable to use the aforementioned transverse straps.

Tutorial

To place the Air Cover 2.0 on the Apple Vision Pro, it is mandatory to remove the side fins , slide the Air Cover 2.0 and then place the fins back in their original position. Once this is done, you can slide the Air Cover 2.0 until it covers the top and prevents light from entering.

If you want to remove it, you will have to remove the side fins of the Apple Vision Pro as shown in the installation tutorial, slide the Air Cover over them and replace the fins. Any other method of removing the Air Cover will not be covered by the warranty .

If you want to store the Apple Vision Pro in a case, you must make 100% sure that the Air Cover 2.0 is not pressed, otherwise the structure could fail and end up breaking. Do not put pressure on critical areas or try to bend it , as it is 3D printed material it could break.
