Changes in U.S. Customs Regulations – Information for InfinityOne 3D Customers
Important Notice: Due to the new U.S. regulation, we will temporarily suspend shipments to the United States starting August 20, as postal operators will no longer accept low-value shipments while adapting their systems. We will notify you as soon as the service is restored.
The U.S. Government has suspended the “de minimis” regime effective August 29, 2025. Until now, products valued under $800 could enter the U.S. without duties or formal declaration; under the new rule, all shipments will be taxed.
What changes for your orders
- Minimum 15 % tariff for products shipped from Spain to the U.S. (applied to the declared value). Additional fees and customs charges may also apply.
- Stricter customs controls: all shipments require a declaration and may be inspected.
- Possible delays: due to the implementation of new processes and inspections.
Who pays the duties?
Duties and fees are imposed by the U.S. Government and are not included in InfinityOne 3D prices. The recipient must pay them to the carrier or U.S. Customs upon delivery. Refusal to pay may result in the package being returned or destroyed.
Tips for U.S. customers
- Allow for an additional ~15 % of the declared value for tariffs, plus possible extra fees.
- Provide complete and accurate information (description and declared value; tax ID if requested) to speed up clearance.
- Plan ahead: delivery times may be longer than usual due to stricter controls.
